Recent internal data records almost $5 billion in land, homesites and other rural acreage for sale in the Treasure State, which represents appromixately 1,580,000 acres of land for sale in the state. Of Montana's 56 counties, Flathead County had the most rural property and land for sale. There were 6,699 acres of sold land in Montana recorded in January 2019 through the Lands of America sales program. Beaverhead, Flathead, Meagher, and Treasure County recorded the most land sales recently in the state.
